Divining into the world of Powder photography - Dog edition

Embarking on my journey into the world of Pet Portraits has been an exciting adventure!

Exploring creative photography sessions led me to the idea of action shoots with Color powder - a vibrant and dynamic concept that I couldn't resist trying out.

After a quick shopping spree on Amazon for dog/child-safe eco-friendly color powder, a jumping pole, and a tarp, the real fun began. Spending a couple of weeks training my old pup a new trick was a rewarding challenge - proving that old dogs can indeed learn new tricks (whoever said they couldn't was clearly mistaken, right?).

Heading to the park with my gear, the first day was a mix of trial and error, especially with the unpredictable wind (hello, fall weather!). Quick thinking led me back home for my boyfriend's weights to secure everything in place, and a friend joined in to lend a helping hand.

so, the next day we go back out, and set everything back up and after

Xena got some Squirrel watching in, she was ready to give it a go.

and will here are some results.

After that I set out to a local Facebook group and that's where I meet

Catherine and her two beautiful pups Nala (border collie) And Missie (Dalmatian)

I offered her a Free Trail Run to get more practice in with other breads and to see what results we can get with this new set. she was more the delighted and agreed to be a Tester.

so, we set up a date and time to meet up and decided to setup in her backyard (best for the dogs)

Now when I got there, I noticed her yard was smaller than I thought, and it was slanted 0_0

not ideal but we made it work. ha-ha Please Enjoy the photos below.
